The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) has provided grants under the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP).

These awards require for-profit recipients to have program specific audits done at the end of their first and third years of the award period.

The auditor is required to report on:

• Schedule of Funds Sources and Project Costs
• Allowable Costs
• Cash Management
• Davis-Bacon Act
• Equipment and Real Property Management
• Private Matching of Funds
• Procurement
• Program Income
• Internal Control
